Attaining a High Consciousness

When Jesus spoke of being “lifted up from the earth”, he meant that what was human about himself and each of us must be consciously united with the Divine potential within us.

In ancient writings, the earth stood for the lowest form of human perception, while heaven represents the highest form of human perception.

Therefore being lifted up from the earth means unity, harmony and at-one-ment in the highest levels of human consciousness.

This daily progressive lifting up of your thought is necessary if you wish to unite yourself and everything you are doing with the Divine.

Higher consciousness enables spiritual Power to flow to and through you and into all your intentions, feelings, thoughts and actions.

Affirmative Prayer:

I now turn to Christ within my spiritual core.

I know that Christ is close to me, Christ is who I am, and Christ governs my life in harmony and in peace.

I know that through me, the Christ brings joy and happiness to everyone I meet.

Through the power of the indwelling and incarnate Christ, I am a blessing to myself and others.

With God's help, I lift up my heart and mind to discern and embrace the revelation and manifestation of the incarnate Christ through the spiritual core of all humankind.

This Perfect Spirit is my real self.

I expect new ideas to stimulate my imagination and direct me into new ways of thinking and doing.

I expect new circumstances and situations in my life.

The action of Divine Intelligence within me impels me to act for the greatest benefit of myself and all others.
